Hi! We will now start with courses with trainers. From tomorrow (Monday 7. October) it will be the following sessions:

- For beginners: Mondays at 19:00-20:00 at Blindern Athletica. Using all courts.

- For division players at OSI 2 and OSI 3: Tuesdays at 18:00-19:00 at Bygdø. (Players selected for these teams are informed) 

! If there will be any changes to this, we will give you a notice. 

If you are a beginner and have paid our membership fee, feel free to attend our course already tomorrow, even though Spond is not set up yet 🙂 

This also applies for all other sessions for all players that have paid our membership this upcoming week as Spond may not be up and ready yet.   

We will set up Spond accordingly with our courses and free play sessions. This will be our plattform to sign up for practices so trainers and members can have an overview of those participating.

Requested and not become a member of the Spond-group yet? It can be that you have not paid our membership fees or we have not set up Spond accordingly yet. We will set it up from now and during the next days as we need to go through who has paid the fee and invite them accordingly. It can also be that we have not gone through your request yet as we go through them from time to time.

Hi! For those who don’t have SiO membership at the moment and would like to try out, we can offer free entrance to SiO Blindern for the following practices:

Mondays 26.08 and 02.09 (Training hours 19:00-21:45)

Fridays 30.08 and 06.09 (Training hours 17:00-20:45)

Meet up 15 minutes before practice starts at the reception and someone from the club will meet you and assist you to our facility.  

*NB! We currently don’t have any rackets to rent, but we are looking onto it. Otherwise there may be some members that can rent out.

Hi! There will be no practice/self play tomorrow ( Sunday 25. August) at OsloMet as we are organizing our own internal tournament. This tournament has been informed about in our Facebook-group earlier and in a previous post. 

Welcome to a new season with OSI Badminton. Our new training hours for autumn 24/spring 25 are:

- Mondays (at Blindern Athletica): 19:00-21:45 (3 courts)

- Wednesdays (at Blindern Athletica): 16:00-17:00 (2 courts)

- Fridays (at Blindern Athletica): 17:00-20:45 (4 courts)

- Sundays (at Oslomet (Pilestredet 50)): 14:00-16:00 (5 courts, expected to be higher level)

For August (or further notice), we allow people to try out and come to practice without registering. All self organized play at the moment. We are not renting out any equipment at the moment unfortunately. 

Courses and additional training areas are in talks. More info will be shared at a later point.

Also, look out for our internal tournament as informed on our Facebook group that will be hosted soon.

Styret i OSI Badminton innkaller herved til medlemsmøte i OSI Badminton mandag 29. januar 2024 kl. 17:15-18:45, altså før mandagstrening på Blindern Athletica. Dørene åpnes kl. 17:00.

Medlemsmøte avholdes på UiO sitt campus på Blindern , rom 108 ved Niels Henrik Abels hus (addresse: Moltke Moes Vei 35, 0851 Oslo) (https://www.uio.no/om/finn-fram/omrader/blindern/bl14/).

Har du noen saker som vil tas opp, så vennligst send det inn til osibad@gmail.com merket med "Årsmøte 2024". Frist for å melde inn saker er 24. januar 2024. Alle saker skal inneholde en begrunnelse og et forslag til vedtak. Ved mangel, vil saken mest sannsynlig bli forkastet.

Saksliste vil bli gjort tilgjengelig for medlemmer 25. januar. På agendaen er det allerede klart at vi både trenger å utvide og få inn nye til styret.
