Ski Touring Hemsedal

Weekend ski touring trip to Hemsedal!

The plan:

We will leave from Oslo in the afternoon/early evening on friday 6. March and drive to a cabin close to the mountain Skogshorn, where we will stay for the weekend. 
On Saturday, we will go ski touring somewhere in the area, returning to the cabin in the afternoon.
On Sunday, we will go on another tour, before driving back to Oslo. 

Information:

This is a beginner friendly trip, however, you need your own equipment and should have some experience using is, it should not be your first ski touring trip. OSI Friluft might have some avalanche equipment to borrow, but we do not have any skis, boots, skins or similar. In addition to ski touring equipment you need clothes to comfortably handle cold temperatures as low as -20C.. 

To make sure everyone is on the same page and have similar expectations you have to sign up through an interest form and answer some simple questions. We will contact participants well ahead of the trip with more details including transport information, price and other practicalities.
